Initial funding

The CLT steering group was successful in its application for funding for legal expenses, for the CLT's initial formation and for the agreements necessary to complete the affordable housing schemes.  This funding came in the form of a grant from the Technical Assistance Fund within the National CLT Network.  The CLT steering group also submitted a document entitled “Summary of Community Role” to the Homes & Communities Agency to support the application by Hastoe for a grant to finance the development and building of the homes.  Hastoe will own the homes on a long lease and will mahage the lettings; the CLT will own the freehold.

The CLT produces management accounts periodically that are available to all members. It will also produce formal financial accounts at its year end, and these will be submitted to its supervising body, the FCA, as well as being available to the public as below.
